Position Summary
The Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate, efficient, and effective data operations that support an amazing user experience for our Ride Sharing partner. This individual should have ample knowledge of Excel and transforming spreadsheets into various formats based on our business needs. The position will start out as a contract role with the potential to become permanent.
The ideal candidate is someone excited to join a startup and use her/his data management knowledge to help it grow as efficiently as possible. Attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to focus in a fast-paced environment are necessary for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manipulating, standardizing, and reconciling large spreadsheets of user data provided from various external sources (carriers, partners, and clients)
- Converting client benefit plan information and plan documents into database-ready formats in excel
- Learning how to use and becoming comfortable with Postman
- Continually identify process, template, and tool improvements and providing this feedback to the Product team
- Working with clients to help implement and to help them understand data management best practices
- Working with internal stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of your work
Technical Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Working knowledge of MS excel and common formulas
- Baseline knowledge of the employee benefits industry, including an understanding of how employee benefits data is managed by employers and carriers
- Knowledge of database management
