SimScale is a rapidly growing SaaS company disrupting the $6 billion Computer-Aided Engineering industry by bringing engineering simulation to the cloud. We are expanding our team in North America and are looking for a driven, energetic and entrepreneurial Account Executive (m/f/d).
In this quota-carrying role, you will contribute to the company’s growth as the primary contact for engineers exploring simulation with SimScale - all the way from initial contact to close. You will be an expert in identifying and understanding their needs and challenges to develop a convincing value proposition.
Your Opportunity
- Manage inbound and outbound sales opportunities in Western North America to build pipeline and increase bookings
- Consistently hit monthly, quarterly and annual sales quota
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective customers and work with sales management to provide an accurate sales forecast for midsize and large enterprises
- In collaboration with our application engineering team, guide prospects through the buyer’s journey to ultimately generate new business and achieve your targets
- Develop industry and product knowledge to convey SimScale’s value proposition to multiple industry segments
- You are based in the United States
- 5+ years of account executive or similar experience
- Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver exciting, engaging conversations and presentations
- A track record of navigating engineering software procurement processes in medium to large organizations
- Discipline with precise time management skills, you are resourceful, with a sound understanding and approach to lead qualification and opportunity creation
- The ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously at various stages in the sales process
- You are a team player, one who can learn from others as well as share best-practices
- You are a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable “figuring it out” in an environment with little process and structure
- You are driven and self-reliant, and possess a strong desire to win
