About the Compensation & Benefit Supervisor Role:
You will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with local regulations and managing payroll processes. This person need to have a strong understanding of labour laws, tax regulations, and payroll best practices in the Asian region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stay updated on labour laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to local laws and regulations
- Collaborate with legal and HR teams to implement changes in policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
- Review company policies
- Implement and manage an effective internal control process
- Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance. Ensure all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with payroll providers and finance teams to gather necessary payroll data
- Manage payroll vendor relationships and ensure service level agreements are met
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll-related taxes and statutory contributions
- Address payroll-related queries from employees and resolve issues promptly
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve payroll processes
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in payroll operations
To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five years of experience in payroll processing and compliance management
- In-depth knowledge of labour laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
