Claims Adjuster FS [United States]


 

We are looking for individuals interested in learning our business, growing their expertise, and becoming a future leader. As a Claims Adjuster FS, you will review policy language, supporting documentation and other pertinent information to adjudicate and decision a claim in a timely manner, as required by both state and or company regulations. The Claims Adjuster is responsible for providing front line, direct contact with clients and customers when they have a claim against their insurance policy and/or membership program. The role includes acting as a customer advocate by setting expectations and guiding each client/customer through the claims process. The role will determine covered loss by analyzing provisions of each specific policy/certificate or terms & conditions of the program in question; study documentation submitted; assemble additional information as required from outside sources; initiate and review investigation of questionable claims; and collaborate with other teams such as Legal, SIU, and business unit management, when appropriate.

  • Provide superior service to our customers by listening, analyzing problems, and guiding them through the claims process.
  • Use your expertise to proactively make recommendations that will help customers avoid future issues.

What are the requirements need for this position?

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED.
  • Relentless drive to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change and work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task using technology while handling calls.
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED.
  • Flexible to work overtime when needed.
  • This position will be a Work from Home remote opportunity.
  • Work schedules will be between the hours of 8am and 5pm EST, Monday through Friday.
  • Must have current 620 Claims Adjuster License and must provide documentation of current continuing education courses with compliance date.
