OVERVIEW
The Role: Under the supervision of the Talent Acquisition Manager, the responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure Avanath attracts, hires, and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline. The incumbent in this role is a persuasive communicator, able to articulate Avanath's culture and vision.

SALARY: $65,000-$70,000 DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Accountabilities
- Sourcing Applicant Tracking System, and other job boards/sources to find qualified candidates.
- Opening and closing requisitions, generating correspondence, preparing offer letters, recording of candidate interviews, screenings, and related notes as well as and the proper disposition of all applicants.
- Proactively source candidates from multiple sources.
- Execute employment offer process, including establishing salary ranges, incentives, start date, etc., with Talent Acquisition Manager, Human Resources (HR) partners, and hiring manager.
- Monitor and execute Recruiting Standard Operating Practices
- Comply with all company policies, state, and federal applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define hiring criteria consistent with job descriptions.
- Maintains appropriate records and statistics and prepares reports when necessary.
- Generate and submit weekly updates and reports related to talent acquisition initiatives to the Talent Acquisition Manager.
- Communicate regularly with HR department to get a clear view of Avanath’s hiring needs and organizational goals.
- Promote Avanath’s reputation as “best place to work”.
- Advise candidates on Avanath’s benefits, salary, and company culture.
- Represent Avanath internally and externally at events with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate local communities.
- Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities.
- Suggest new ideas for improving talent acquisition activities.
- Assists with execution of HR responsibilities of takeovers/acquisitions, including new hire onboarding.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 2 years of related recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment is preferred.
- Experience working within the real estate industry preferred.
- Outcome oriented and operates with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines.
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required with the ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively by phone and email.
- Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications. Should have good comfort level with integrating multiple applications to streamline operations through technology solutions.
- Must have the flexibility and ability to travel periodically/regularly, depending on company needs, with some overnight travel required.
- Ability to act with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Must maintain positive, upbeat demeanor under stressful conditions.
- Bilingual: English/Spanish highly desired
