The Division
The Regional and Outer Metropolitan Division is focused on understanding the particular needs of regional communities across NSW and delivering customer-centred integrated transport services and infrastructure. In the Community and Place branch, we engage with customers, communities and stakeholders to ensure their needs are considered in the development and delivery of Transport’s plans, strategies, services and programs across NSW.
We do this by working with teams across Transport and sharing community and place insights. This is to achieve our goal to improve access, quality of life, and sustainability and improve customer and community outcomes.
The Opportunity
Right now, we have a fixed term opportunity (up until 30/06/2025) for a Disaster Recovery Project Officer within Community Partnering in Region North. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Disaster Recovery and Stimulus, this role will deliver high-end administrative project support working wholly across the disaster betterment and engineering teams.
The role liaises with multiple stakeholders in other disaster recovery agencies and will provide status report updates, forecasting accrual reports, audit documentation and will highlight risks or concerns of issues.
About you
To be considered for this role you can:
- Demonstrate skills and experience in project management systems and business improvement processes. Experience in Salesforce is an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in working with information management systems, analysing and reporting on business and project performance in a large complex business environment.
- Demonstrate experience in supporting audits, monitoring and reporting key project performance indicators.
- Be a skilled communicator with exposure to working with a broad spectrum of stakeholders and be able to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Think on your feet, work autonomously and be a problem solver
- Astutely manage time and work collaboratively and closely with other parts of the division
- Operate TSS payment in SAP
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is Transport Grade 7 $108,770 - $121,822 per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
