Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, including tracking stock levels, monitoring inventory movements, and reconciling inventory discrepancies Inspecting and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices to ensure that the correct items and quantities have been received Unpacking and stocking items on shelves, racks, or bins, in an organized and efficient manner Preparing and packaging items for shipment or delivery to customers, including picking and packing orders, labeling items, and preparing shipping documents Performing regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy and identify any inventory discrepancies or losses Communicating with other departments, such as purchasing, sales, and customer service, to ensure that inventory levels are appropriate to meet demand and resolve any issues related to inventory Maintaining a clean and organized inventory storage area, including conducting regular inspections of storage locations and disposing of damaged or expired items
